The Straw Hats and satellites search for Vegapunk, marveling at his inventions. Communications fail mysteriously, with Shaka seeing only a shadowy figure. Pythagoras encounters this figure and is nearly killed in a massive explosion.
Usopp, Franky, and Lilith discover Pythagoras survived by detaching his head. Meanwhile, York is turned to stone by S-Snake, who reveals herself as the shadowy attacker.
A Traitor Among the Vegapunks
The Seraphim’s attack implies a traitor among the Vegapunks working with the World Government. Since Saint Saturn is en route to Egghead and Vegapunk is with Bonney, one of the satellites must have taken control of the Seraphim. Future episodes will surely uncover the reasons behind this betrayal.

However, the episode also shows Toei’s mishandling of certain scenes. Sanji’s behavior towards Stussy, including barking like a dog, felt out of character and unnecessary. Despite this, Episode #1107 met expectations overall.
